About Pastor Harvey Carey
Harvey Carey is widely known for his remarkable ability to communicate
the transforming truth of God's Word. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor
of the Citadel of Faith Covenant Church in Detroit, Michigan. Known for
ministry to urban youth and families, his passion is to reach the "hopeless" with
the message of Jesus Christ.
As a Youth Pastor in one of the most devastated communities in inner city Chicago, Pastor Carey developed a nationally emulated youth ministry model with a group that grew from 12 to over 1,500 at-risk youth. Pastor Carey has also trained and led ministry teams into housing projects, shopping malls, and public schools in urban areas across the country, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
